As a Business Controller, you oversee the business and act as a linking pin for the entire organization. You are able to dive into details but also oversee the bigger picture. You are an open and approachable person, with a strong personality and excellent communication skills. You are positively critical, curious, decisive and result-oriented. You can analyze quickly and well and know how to convey your message clearly to all stakeholders.

• You will work closely with both Plant and Group Control as well as our Chinese shareholder (HSCC).
• Co-responsible for the P&C cycle, budgets, forecasts and business cases.
• Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to predict business performance and make recommendations for improvements.
• Identifying financial risks and opportunities and formulating recommendations to optimize the company's financial position.
• Monitoring budgets and preparing reports (IFRS) to identify and analyze deviations.
• Advising and supporting management in making financial decisions and formulating strategies to improve business performance.
• Leading financial projects, such as cost-saving initiatives, investment analysis and software/system implementations.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and developing and implementing internal control procedures (Risk Control).
• Participates in Sales & Operations planning in order to create the most optimal situation for Fibrant together with colleagues.
• You act as a business partner for the entire organization and communicate proactively with other disciplines.

Background and experience

• You have at least a HBO education, preferably a completed WO education.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English, Chinese can come in handy.
• You have gained at least 5-7 years of relevant work experience within a manufacturing organization.
• You have knowledge of tax legislation (e.g. VPB, VAT, transfer pricing).
• You have extensive knowledge of SAP, Excel and PowerBI and can transfer this knowledge to other colleagues.
• Of course, you also act as a back-up if one of your colleagues is enjoying a well-deserved holiday because you have gained knowledge of each other's work.
• Based on your interest and drive, you will work across departments with other disciplines and you will therefore become well acquainted with the processes within our company, both for the office environment and the Fibrant plants.

Working at Fibrant 

As a Business Controller, you will be working at our head office in Urmond. Depending on your work experience, Fibrant offers a salary of 80.000-125.000 EUR gross per year (based on 40 hours). In addition, Fibrant has attractive benefits, including a flexible personal budget, which can be used for extra leave days or an extra payment. We also offer the possibility to work structurally from home 1-2 days a week.
