As a Chemical Engineer, you are the driving force behind process improvements and technological innovations. You identify opportunities for improvement, develop project proposals and contribute with your knowledge to projects from start to finish. Together with your colleagues, you ensure a more efficient, safer and more sustainable process. In this role, you are the technological brain of the installation, and you are involved in:
- Identifying and analyzing bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement in production processes.
- Developing improvement proposals and technical scopes.
- Contributing to large projects in the plant, from concept phase to implementation.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as Research & Technology, Operations Quality, Maintenance and suppliers.
- Ensuring safety, environmental and quality requirements during projects, for example by carrying out safety studies.
- Preparation of technical documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Background and experience
- A completed HBO or WO education in Chemical Engineering.
- A few years of experience in a chemical plant is welcome, but not necessary.
- Affinity with sustainability and technological innovation is a plus.
- Analytical skills and a proactive attitude.
- Independence and leadership in projects.
- Challenges the status quo for continuous improvement.
- Communication skills in both Dutch and English.
Working at Fibrant
As a Chemical Engineer, you will work at our office at the factories in Geleen. Depending on your work experience, Fibrant offers a salary of 45,000-70,000 EUR gross per year (based on 40 hours).
